About the Tournament

About the Tournament

The trophy was last awarded in 1995 to the Richmond Roadrunners as a Western Canadian Championship event for Junior B Lacrosse. With the help of Frazer MacDonald, longtime supporter and advocate for Junior B lacrosse in British Columbia, this trophy is once again being used to celebrate Junior B2 lacrosse in Western Canada as an invitational event. The "MacDonald Cup" tournament will remain an invitational until it once again can be a Western Championship event featuring the top teams in Junior B2 from BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Dave Wallace (@wallaceworksfdc) has redesigned the trophy with some outstanding woodwork additions.
