Between the City of Brooks and the County of Newell, there’s a population of more than 20,000 residents. Driving distance to large centres like Calgary (2 hours), Medicine Hat (1 hours) and Lethbridge (1.5 hours) is fairly reasonable and for an event like the MacDonald Cup, it’s likely to draw support and fans to attend from these areas.
Under facility usage terms, the host has the right to sell tickets to all 1,704 seats, and 500 standing room, for each game. Suites are leased on a yearly basis, with the exception of one large suite which the Bandits organization controls. Yearly suite holders will be offered first rights to rent their suites for the event.
